Our Story

The evolution of agile collaboration

With 18 years of work experience in the realm of front-end-development, our journey began as part of an ever-changing technology landscape. The first projects were running for multiple years and showcased a disturbing truth as we have observed a severe lack of qualified experts within the front-end development space. Agile working turned out to be an empty promise. Teams and managers were frustrated, employees were treated unfair and their opinions were not valued. Communication was insufficient, sprint outcomes were not error-free and delayed, and the workload for the teams increased steadily.

A turning point

We have always asked ourselves about the root cause. Despite new approaches and proposed solutions all anticipated gains left out, and instead, new problems arose. I really wanted to know: what we have been doing wrong and most importantly, how agile working works properly?! I delved into the matter of scrum and agile methods, best practices and discovered the fascinating world of agile principles. I was confirmed in many of my thoughts. 10 years of agile working showcased the need of applying intelligent types of collaboration.

Lessons Learnt

Agile working requires profound behavioral changes and an agile mindset, no high-level nor simple solutions. These changes must be initiated in the minds of the management. We founded pageBody to close exactly this huge gap between “doing agile” and “being agile”. We know that agile success requires more than just plain processes and tools. Based on the agile manifesto we emphasize the importance of “individuals and interactions over processes and tools”. At the center of our approach is the belief that a robust organizational culture based on psychological safety is critical to team performance and innovation. Our goal is to create a culture of inclusion, ownership and trust in agile environments.

Our mission

We realized that our employees not only need to be technically adept, but above all must have a high level of emotional intelligence in order to successfully master the challenges in the company. Emotional intelligence improves interpersonal relationships, helps to resolve conflicts, promotes self-management, boosts motivation and increases leadership effectiveness. It is a key success factor for employees and organizations as a whole. As a solution, we implement intervention techniques for real, agile working for our clients.

Path to Transformation

By providing teams with the necessary training and fostering an environment free of micromanagement, we aim to empower each team member to contribute effectively and take ownership of sprint deadlines and deliverables. We position ourselves as a catalyst for true agile transformation, providing organizations with the expertise and support they need to tackle the complexity of front-end development with agility and efficiency.

A look into the future

Our story is one of professional development, with a focus on reshaping the landscape of agile development in the enterprise space. We are determined to continue to promote the principles and practices that enable truly agile and successful collaboration. Together, we are shaping the future of front-end development – smart, inclusive and efficient.
